On December 25th, 2002, the comedy-drama, "Catch Me If You Can", was released to U.S. theaters! Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film sars Leonardo DiCaprio as Frank Abagnale Jr., a 17-18 year old who successfully performed cons worth millions of dollars by posing as a Pan American pilot, a Georgia doctor, and a Louisiana parish prosecutor. The film was based on the true stories of Frank Abagnale Jr. during the 1970s, but as of the 2020s, the truth of the stories are heavily disputed. The film went on to gross $352 million in the worldwide box-office on a $52 million production budget, and was nominated for two awards at the 75th Academy Awards.
