The third installment in the "Toy Story" franchise, the film had a production budget of $200 million, making it one of the most expensive films of all time! After its premiere in Italy, the film was released to U.S. theaters on June 18th, 2010, and received critical acclaim upon release. "Toy Story 3" grossed $1.067 billion in the worldwide box office, becoming Pixar's first film to gross $1 billion, as well as the first animated film to gross $1 billion. It held that record until 2013, when Disney's "Frozen" surpassed "Toy Story 3" to become the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
