On November 2nd, 2020, the internet-famous kids video, "Baby Shark Dance" by PinkFong became the most-watched video on YouTube. The original Pinkfong "Baby Shark" video without the child actors was uploaded on November 25, 2015. The most popular version of the song, "The Baby Shark Dance" was uploaded on June 17th, 2016, and began to go viral in 2017. On November 2nd, 2020, over four years after it was uploaded to YouTube, it became the most-viewed YouTube video of all time after passing "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi with 8.03 billion views. "Baby Shark Dance" also was the first most-viewed video to mention its status in the title.
