Classic rock band Boston released their debut album, "Boston", in the United States on August 25th, 1976 under the Epic record label. The album, which is considered a classic rock staple, included hits such as "More Than a Feeling", "Peace of Mind", "Foreplay/Long Time" (my personal favorite on the album), and "Rock and Roll Band". Upon release, the album broke all sales records, becoming the best-selling LP in United States history at the time, and won the RIAA Century Award. It sold at least 17 million copies in the U.S. alone, and at least 20 million worldwide, making it the best-selling debut album of all time. Almost every song on the album is still in constant rotation on classic rock radio.Â
