On November 30th, 2022, OpenAI launched ChatGPT - their AI chatbot innovation. ChatGPT is credited with starting the "AI Boom", which led to a continuing rapid investment in and newfound public attention to artificial intelligence. In Janauary 2023, ChatGPT became what was the fastest-growing consumer software app in history, obtaining over 100 million users and bringing OpenAI's current valuation to $86 billion. Today, there still remains a worry of what jobs ChatGPT and AI as a whole will make obsolete.
