On April 19th, 1987, the iconic television family, "The Simpsons", made their first appearance in a short titled "Good Night" on "The Tracey Ullman Show". The 1-minute short followed The Simpson parents as they put their children to bed. Because of the critcial acclaim the short recieved, forty-seven more "Simpsons" shorts were produced for the "Tracey Ullman Show" and were aired over 3 seasons, until "The Simpsons" recieved their own television show in December 1989.
