Happy Hanukkah! Enjoy the last night of Hanukkah! We have posted about many Christmas related specials, but have yet to post about a Hanukkah one! Here we go!
On December 14, 2000, "The One with the Holiday Armadillo" aired on NBC for the first time. Often considered the best of the Friends holiday episodes, the episode follows Ross as he tries desperately to teach his son Ben about Hanukkah. Because Ben was being raised by Ross's Christian ex-wife, he becomes unhappy that Santa would not be appearing. So, Ross decides that he will dress as Santa to cheer up his son. When the costume shop breaks the news to Ross that they are out of Santa costumes so close to Christmas, Ross takes the opportunity to teach Ben about Hanukkah as the "Holiday Armadillo". Unfortunately, Chandler appears in a Santa costume and chaos ensues! If you want to watch the episode, you can find it on HBO MAX. It is Season 7, episode 10.
