On October 2nd, 1959, the first episode of the sci-fi series, "The Twilight Zone", aired on CBS! The show was created and presented by Rod Serling, and ran for five seasons, with the last episode airing on June 19, 1964. Each episode featured a story of characters who find themselves dealing with disturbing events, often with a surprise ending. Serling co-wrote 92 of the show's 156 episodes, and also served as the host and narrator, delivering monologues at the beginning and end of each episode.
