On September 13th, 1969, the first television series in the "Scooby-Doo" franchise, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!", premiered on CBS. Produced by Hanna-Barbera and created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, the series premiered as part of CBS's Saturday morning cartoon schedule. "Scooby-Doo" aired for two seasons until October 31st, 1970, and was broadcast through reruns during the 1971 season.
