On September 16th, 1993, the first episode of iconic sitcom, "Frasier", premiered on NBC. The series was a spin-off of the highly-successful sitcom, "Cheers", which had ended the television season before. The series starred Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane, a psychiatrist who returns home to Seattle to start a job as a radio show host. "Frasier" was critically acclaimed throughout its run, with the series and the cast winning 37 Primetime Emmy Awards, which was a record at the time for a scripted series. It also won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series for five years in a row. The original series aired its last episode on May 13, 2004. The series received a revival on Paramount+ on October 12, 2023.
