iPhone 3GS

Apple released the third model in the iPhone line, the 3GS, on June 8, 2009. It was an improved version of the previously released, 3G. The "s" stood for "speed". It was sold under the slogan, "The fastest, smartest phone yet.". It was discontinued in June 2010, following the release of the iPhone 4.
