Commodore Calculator History
After the end to their typewriter production, Commodore International pivoted to sell electronic calculators. In 1969, they decided to manufacture their own calculators. They became one of the more popular calculator brands of the early 1970s, but Texas Instruments put their calculator business down the drain when they released cheaper calculators. Commodore then pivoted their focus once again, and entered the personal computer market.
