Max Headroom

Max Headroom, known as the "first computer generated television host", was played by Matt Frewer. He was known for his commentary, arrogant wit, and his pitch-shifting voice. He was created by 3 people and made his first appearance in the TV film, Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future  on April 4, 1985. Max Headroom became so popular that he was featured in a soda commercial and he made an appearance in the 1989 film, Back to the Future Part II, where he appeared in the 80's-style cafe. He eventually had his own television show, titled Max Headroom, from March 31, 1987 until May 05, 1988.
