Apple Quicktake 100

As digital cameras started getting more and more popular throughout the early 1990’s, Apple decided to get in on the action. Apple released the Apple Quicktake 100 on June 20, 1994. It was shown at the Tokyo MacWorld on February 17, 1994, and was shown off for the first time in America at the Photo Marketing Association show. The price of the camera was $749, and it was one of the first digital cameras marketed to consumers emphasizing ease of use. Two different versions of the Quicktake 100 were released: One for Mac and one for Windows. In total, three models of the Quicktake camera were released. These were the 100, 150, and 200. The Quicktake camera line was discontinued in 1997, just after three years on the market.
