The PlayStation Portable, universally known as the PSP, was a powerhouse handheld gaming system released by Sony in North America in March 2005 to battle the Nintendo DS. The system's best-selling game was Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, which cleared over 7.6 million copies.
